Baracchi - Smeriglio Merlot Magnum 1.5 liter bottle is an excellent, lively and deep ruby red 100% Merlot.

Intense smell, with fruity notes of plum jam and pleasantly sweet spice of white pepper, tobacco and liquorice. 

Barracchi - Smeriglio Merlot Magnum matures for 25 days in stainless steel tanks and is stored in barriques for 12 months.

After maturing in barriques, the wine is bottled - the wine remains in the bottles for another 4 months until it is in harmony with the scent of roasted coffee and chocolate. The taste is very round and soft with a pleasant acidity. Nice minerality, fine tannins and a very persistent finish. 

Serve with Game, red meat, pasta dishes and Italian mountain cheese.
