Cantine Bertani - Due Uve Rosso IGT
The Bertani - Due Uve Rosso IGT is ruby red in the glass.
The Bertani winery was founded in 1857 founded by Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani. Both have set a milestone for the entire Valpolicella area. The "Secco Bertani" made the wine house known throughout Europe and received numerous awards.
An example of the great success that continues to this day:
At the coronation banquet for George VI. of England in 1937 Soave Bertani was the only white wine served.
Today the Bertani wine house belongs to the Angelini family. She owns historic wineries in the best growing areas in Tuscany and has quickly made Bertani a global brand with a modern character.
The latest creation from the Home "Bertani" is Due Uve Rosso IGT. The grapes used for this red wine come from the Veneto area. The Corvina and Merlot grape varieties give the Due Uve Rosso IGT a masterful taste explosion.
A fine scent of ripe forest berries, juicy plums and a hint of vanilla unfolds in the nose. On the palate, the Due Uve Rosso IGT is warm, pleasantly fruity with a balanced acidity base. In the finish, the Bertani - Due Uve Rosso IGT is an endless pleasure.
An excellent red wine for special occasions with family and friends!
Goes well with pizza, pasta and cheese platters.
