Poggio Capponi - Tinorso 2015

Poggio Capponi - Tinorso is a dark red wine with ruby red reflections in the glass. 

The Tinorso is a well-known wine from the Fattoria Poggio Capponi. The vines grow in the Montespertoli hills of Tuscany. A good climate, calcareous and loamy soils ensure a good harvest in the region. 

The grapes are matured in French oak barrels. The wine is aged for 12 to 18 months and then bottled. The remains there Tinorso another 6 months until the wine leaves the warehouse for sale.  

Fine notes of ripe fruit, warm spices and cocoa on the nose. Special nuances of pepper and liquorice round off the wine harmoniously. A pleasant, good tannin structure with spicy and fruity taste sensations.

An ideal companion to pasta dishes, pizza and cheese.
