The "Es piú sole Primitivo di Manduria DOC" is a deep dark sweet wine. The Primitivo grapes are on average 60 years old and are harvested by hand late. The berries are fermented in oak barrels. The wine then matures in barriques for nine months.
Aromas of cherries, plums, cinnamon, cloves and spices. On the palate, the wine presents itself with little acidity and a fruity taste.
Goes well with spicy soups, lamb, and curry dishes.
